Drop Box Use & Preparation (All drop boxes scheduled for pick-up must be properly prepared)

  • Box must be LEVEL loaded: Material must be within the top edge of the box.
  • Doors and lids must be completely closed and latched.Box must be accessible.
  • The path must be clear of all vehicles and objects to allow pick-up.
  • All recycling boxes must be kept free of trash or any other material.
  • Any contamination will result in additional charges (see below).

Material Restrictions

  • NO hazardous waste such as paint, pesticides, or flammable liquids.
  • NO motor oil, gasoline, or antifreeze.
  • NO oil drums or fuel tanks.
  • NO batteries, including alkaline, NiCad or automobile
  • FOOD WASTE CONTAMINATION will result in higher haul fee and disposal charges
  • Computers, computer monitors and appliances, TV's and other items per DEQ regulations
    as of January 1, 2010 (www.deq.state.or.us/lq/electronicsban.htm)

Tires (car): $7.00 each tire off rim, $9.00 each tire on rim
Dry Run: $50.00
Appliances: $12.50 each NON-CFC containing appliance
(Examples: stoves, dishwasher, water heaters)

$28.50 each CFC containing appliance
(Examples: refrigerators, freezers, air -conditioners)
Return Fee:-$50.00
 
Repair Fees: $70.00 per hour, plus parts and material
